The NORAD Fellowship Programme is a postgraduate programme financed by The Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD). This fellowship program targets personnel employed or formally linked up to public institutions, non-governmental organizations, private sector enterprises, universities and research institutions, who will benefit from further education in order to strengthen the performance of their respective institutions. Most of the courses in the programme are held in Norway and run over a period of two years. All courses are considered to hold a high academic standard. The application deadline is the 1st of December every year.
Applicants must fully satisfy the academic qualifications and other admission requirements according to the specific criteria set by the university or college in question.
Relevant professional experience of 2-3 years is required.

What is offered: Diploma and Master courses at Norwegian institutions of higher education.
Where: Several universities and state university colleges in Norway.
Who may apply: Students who have finished their Bachelor degree from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, East Timor, India, Indonesia, Iran, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, The Palestinian Territory, Angola, Eritrea, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Cuba, Guatemala and Nicaragua. Students must have at least two years of work experience, and the employer in the home country must acknowledge the relevance of the education in Norway.

How much: 8000 Norwegian kroner per month. 4000 kroner is given for initial expenses the first month.
