Rest areas, viewing platforms and service points are not usually the exciting hot spots of a journey. The Detour exhibition however, highlights numerous innovative and interesting installations along 18 of Norway’s tourist routes.
The constructions have been designed by Norwegian as well as international architects, landscape architects and designers. Some of the villages that have these new installations have already been mapped out and recognised within international architectural circles.
