Applications for familyimmigration are handled by the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI) in Oslo. Your application will be sent electronically to the UDI.

How can I apply ?

We are pleased to announce that you may now make an online application and book appointment if you want to apply for familyimmigration. Please register your online application and book appointment at the Application Portal Norway: https://selfservice.udi.no  After you have submitted the online application, booked your appointment and provided all the supporting documents, we will be pleased to welcome you to the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Tehran to submit the necessary supporting documents, pay the fee and provide biometric data. The Embassy requires personal appearance when submitting the application.  

 

When can I apply ?

You can submit your visa application at the Embassy visa section for the following opening hours:

Sunday-Wednesday: 09.00-12.00

 

When can I call the visa reception?

You can call the visa reception during the following phone hours:

Sunday – Thursday: 13.30 – 15.30

How much is the case processing fee?

The handling fee should be paid cash when submitting the application.

The fee must be paid both by persons applying for a first-time work permit/residence permit, and for those applying for a renewal of such permit.  It is not refundable even though the application should be rejected. Please click here for updated fee information.

Which supporting documents must be handed in with familyimmigration application?

 

Please read list of supporting documents from the UDI. Make sure you have all necessary documents listed. Make sure you bring the list to the Embassy when handing in the application. In addition to the documents listed there, you must bring: 

 

  • One colour passport photo 3 X 4 facing front. Must not be retouched/Bedoone rootoosh!  
  • The original ID card (Shenasname) must be translated to English and verified by the Foreign Ministry in Tehran.
  • The original Marriage certificate must be translated to English authenticated by the Foreign Ministry in Tehran.
  • Reference’s residence permit in Norway or copy of Norwegian Passport (first page only).
  • Last 3 salary slips from reference.
  • House contract.
  • If the parties have been divorced, the original divorce certificate for both parties must be translated to English and verified by the Foreign Ministry in Tehran.
  • One colour copy of the wedding picture.

Please note that all applicants, irrespective of online registration and booked appointments, must provide full supporting documents for their applications.
